Welcome to Earplugs & Memories!

This is a comprehensive concert archive documenting 35+ years of live music experiences. Browse through 1,273 concerts, explore detailed setlists for nearly every show, view concert photos, and discover statistics about artists, venues, and songs.

Install Mobile App

About the App

Earplugs & Memories is available as a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means you can install it on your phone or computer for an app-like experience. Once installed, you'll get:

  • Home Screen Icon: Launch the app directly from your device
  • Full-Screen Mode: No browser bars, just the app
  • Offline Access: View cached concerts and data without internet
  • Faster Loading: Cached data loads instantly
  • Native Feel: Works just like a native iOS/Android app

Install on iPhone/iPad

  1. Open Safari (must use Safari, not Chrome) and visit earplugsandmemories.com
  2. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen (square with arrow pointing up)
  3. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
  4. Give it a name (or keep "E&M Concerts") and tap "Add"
  5. The app icon will appear on your home screen
  6. Tap the icon to launch the app in full-screen mode!

Tip: You can move the icon to your home screen or dock just like any other app!

Install on Android

  1. Open Chrome and visit earplugsandmemories.com
  2. Tap the menu (three dots ) in the top-right corner
  3. Select "Install app" or "Add to Home Screen"
  4. Confirm the installation when prompted
  5. The app will be added to your home screen and app drawer
  6. Tap to launch the full-screen app!

Note: You may also see an automatic install banner at the bottom of the page!

Install on Desktop (Chrome/Edge)

  1. Open Chrome or Edge and visit earplugsandmemories.com
  2. Look for the install icon in the address bar (usually on the right side)
  3. Click the icon and select "Install"
  4. The app will open in its own window without browser tabs
  5. Access it from your taskbar, Start menu, or desktop shortcut

Alternative: Click the menu (⋮) → Settings → "Install Earplugs & Memories"

Browsing & Search

Shows

The Shows page displays all concerts in reverse chronological order (newest first).

  • Search: Filter by artist name, venue, city, or date
  • Details: Click any show to see full setlist, photos, and comments
  • Setlist Icon: indicates a complete setlist is available

Artists

Browse all artists sorted by number of concerts attended.

  • Statistics: See total concerts for each artist
  • Artist Page: Click to see all concerts for that artist with dates and venues
  • Search: Quickly find any artist using the search box

Venues

Explore all venues sorted by number of concerts attended.

  • Location: See city and state for each venue
  • Venue Page: Click to see all concerts at that venue
  • Search: Filter by venue name or city

Songs

Discover song statistics across all concerts.

  • Most Played: See which songs appear most frequently
  • Opening Songs: Most common show openers
  • Closing Songs: Most common show closers
  • Search: Find any song in the database

Contributing to the Archive

Uploading Photos

Share your concert photos with the community!

  • Sign In Required: Create an account to upload photos
  • From Concert Page: Click "Upload Photo" button on any concert page
  • Photo Guidelines:
    • • Maximum file size: 5MB
    • • Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, GIF
    • • Photos are automatically resized for optimal loading
    • • Add an optional caption to describe the photo
  • Managing Photos: You can delete your own photos anytime

Adding Comments

Share your memories and experiences from concerts you attended.

  • Sign In Required: Create an account to post comments
  • From Concert Page: Scroll to the comments section at the bottom
  • Editing: You can edit your own comments after posting
  • Deleting: You can delete your own comments anytime

Submitting Setlists

Help complete the archive by submitting setlist.fm links for concerts without setlists.

  • No Sign-In Required: Anyone can submit setlists!
  • From Concert Page: Look for "Submit Setlist" button on concerts without setlists
  • Finding Setlists:
    • • Go to setlist.fm
    • • Search for the artist and date
    • • Copy the URL from the setlist page
    • • Paste the URL in the submission form
  • Approval Process: Submissions are reviewed by admins before being added
  • Automatic Import: Once approved, the setlist is automatically imported

Creating an Account

Sign up to upload photos, post comments, and contribute to the archive.

  • Google Sign-In: Quick sign-in with your Google account
  • Email/Password: Create an account with your email address
  • Email Link (Passwordless): Sign in with a magic link sent to your email
  • Display Name: Choose how your name appears on photos and comments

Privacy & Data

We respect your privacy and only collect necessary information.

  • What We Store: Email, display name, and profile photo (if provided)
  • Your Content: Photos, comments, and setlist submissions you create
  • Public Information: Your display name and photo are visible to all users
  • Data Deletion: Visit our data deletion page to request account removal

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an account to browse concerts?

No! You can browse all concerts, setlists, artists, venues, and statistics without creating an account. An account is only required to upload photos, post comments, or submit setlists.

How do I know if a concert has a setlist?

Look for the green list icon next to the concert. This indicates a complete setlist is available. Currently, 99% of concerts have setlists!

Can I download concert photos?

Yes! Click on any photo to view it full-size, then right-click and select "Save Image As" to download.

What if I find incorrect information?

Please contact us with details about the error, and we'll review and correct it as soon as possible.

How are setlists sourced?

Setlists are primarily sourced from setlist.fm, a community-driven setlist database. Some may also come from personal notes or other reliable sources.

Can I edit or delete my photos/comments?

Yes! You can edit your own comments by clicking the "Edit" button. You can delete your own photos and comments anytime by clicking the "Delete" button.

What happens after I submit a setlist?

Your submission is reviewed by an admin to verify accuracy. Once approved, the setlist is automatically imported and the concert page is updated. This usually happens within a few days.
